Photographed by Rhode Island Wedding Photographer, Eli Holmes, Abbigale and Shane were surrounded by loved ones as they exchanged their vows in front of friends and family at their Mount Hope Farm wedding in Bristol, Rhode Island. I absolutely loved capturing their day, and have been looking forward to sharing it here on the blog!
They chose light pink & blush tones to compliment the beautiful light green florals. Antique glass mill bottles filled with flowers decorated the cocktail tables, as family and friends celebrated their love. There was tons of dancing and fun throughout the night, and the joy these two share between each other was palpable. Everyone danced the night away and it was an absolutely beautiful night.
A Mount Hope Farm Wedding
The Mount Hope Farm is incredible and totally worth a visit if you are on the hunt for your Rhode Island wedding venue. The Cove Cabin, built in the early 1900’s, has ceremony views that are breathtaking. The sunsets create a beautiful canvas for incredible film photography and videography.
Mount Hope Farm is a step back in time to a Rhode Island summer weekends. The Cove Cabin reminds me of a cabin that my grandmother would have had out on Prudence Island. The open air nature of the cabin provides this comfortable, natural feel for your cocktail hour or even a small wedding reception.
Having a Local Rhode Island Wedding Photographer
Rhode Island is a wonderful little state. There are lots of Rhode Island wedding photographers who travel from far and near. Hiring a local Rhode Island wedding photographer means you’ll be working with someone who likely knows and has worked with the wedding vendors you’ve already hired or are going to hire. Having that familiar, that community is so wonderful on the day of your wedding. It’s like a reunion each time we get together for weddings in Rhode Island.
Having lived in Rhode Island for the past 10-12 years, I’ve gotten to know the state pretty well. I lived out on Block Island from 2012-2014, then moved to South Kingstown, and then Swansea MA on the border, Cumberland RI after that, and then back to Block Island. Having lived all over the state, I’ve gotten to know many of the wedding venues in Rhode Island, as well as many of the wedding vendors. If you are looking for your next Rhode Island wedding photographer, don’t hesitate to reach out here. I am available for all your film wedding photography or super 8 wedding videography needs!
