Located in Bristol RI, the Herreshoff is conveniently located about 30 minutes from downtown Newport. This event space offers multiple options for wedding ceremonies, rehearsal dinners, and reception spaces. With the hall of boats and a unique perspective into the world of boat building, this venue is perfect for a boat lover’s special day.

The Herreshoff Museum
The Herreshoff manufacturing company builds wooden boats — the museum offers a look back in time at the process of wooden boat building. A treasure that gives a turn-of-the-century perspective, the hall of boats is a remarkable spot for your wedding reception. With tons of exhibits, the museum offers a unique step back in time to the world of wooden boat building.
Unlike a country club or other typical wedding venue, this RI wedding venue offers a unique experience close to Newport Harbor, the Newport Bridge, and Newport RI. Built-in 1971, the goal of the Herreshoff Museum was to preserve all that the wooden boat building company did.
Under the auspices of the Herreshoff, America’s Cup Hall of Fame has continued to preserve America’s yachting history. Founded by Halsey Herreshoff, America’s Cup Hall of Fame was built where Herreshoff Manufacturing Company originally existed.
