On the West side of the property, overlooking the gardens, you'll find the patio, and dining room. The dining room is a great rain option — or the tent — with the patio serving as a stunning open air space for cocktail hour, and reception. The space often serves as a welcome party or rehearsal dinner space as well.
Updated in the past few years, the Hotel Manisses is a stunning property with 17 hotel rooms. Each room has its own character, and features — many with private balconies, spa bathrooms, and more. The rooms are light, open, and have private bathrooms, and air conditioning.
Stepping into the gardens at Hotel Manisses, you're quickly leaving behind the hustle, and bustle of town. As you walk down into the patio, the dahlias and flowers surround you. Walking around the garden, there is a huge willow tree that often serves as the ceremony space, ample seating to find a spot with a good book, and lots of space for kids to run, and play.
Growing up, I spent my winters down in Florida quite often. My grandmother lived in Tampa, and I'd spend my school vacations and holidays at her retirement home, and out on Longboat Key. Florida has always held a special spot in my heart as result, and I try my hardest to visit some of the locations we went to as a family growing up each time I'm there.
